- It appears Jay McKee is moving to Pittsbrugh, on a 1 year, $800,000 deal. Pens fans: There is nothing you wont like about this deal. McKee is a solid veteran when healthy, is a tough player, blocks tons of shots and brings everything a championship team needs from the back of its defence corp. He could have been great in St Louis (after signing a huge $16mm deal 3 years ago), but just couldnt stay healthy. The folks here in the office are all hoping to see him make a big impact next season.

This is a good signing for the Pens. Jay McKee is due for a bounce-back season.
