#5 by baba booey at June 18th, 2011
well tim thomas maybe our team but it was enough to win a cup.12 million dollars coming off the cap possibly more if savard retires and we’ll add more pieces.young veterans like bergeron, horton, and lucic locked up contractually.tyler seguin will be developing and getting better.not to mention the leafs #9 overall pick.i’ll take that “suck” team anyday.

vancouver had way more skill then boston you even have to admit that but vancouver has no tough guys and a goalie who played inconsistent at least luongo is canadian unlike thomas gaylord Lucic and Bergeron are the only good Bruins. BRUINS SUCK BABA BOOEY YOU RETARD
#8 by harry at June 19th, 2011
im sorry but get a new team sorry for dissing you. Are you american cause IF SO you know canada won the olympics just sayin how many us players would have made team Canada 2 Miller and Kane
#9 by pat skinner at June 19th, 2011
Do all Canadianshave this much trouble with the English language? Harry, it’s a team game, and the best team won. And yes, the best goalie in the NHL is American—
#10 by Tony Montana at June 19th, 2011
hahahahahahaha Harry why don’t you go riot some more while i party in Boston, Canada hasn’t won a cup in 18 years, and it was pretty sad that the Canadian team had to go into overtime to beat the U.S. in the olympics it should have been a blowout, the thing is Americans like Tim Thomas just flat out have more heart than you pussies up in Canada. Go Bruins, faggot. Dont say stupid shit and you won’t get shit on, bitch.
#11 by kevyboy at June 20th, 2011
@tony montana, u are talking smack about how you US players have more heart than us canadians and thats why boston won the cup…but i just wanted to let you know even thought Boston won the cup, you do realize that all your fowards besides one is canadian…sorta ironic dont you think?
#12 by harry at June 20th, 2011

#15 by bababooey at June 21st, 2011
kevyboy doesn’t have much of a brain.he should learn how to use the word ironic in the right context.harry what does vancouver having no tough guys have to do with the bruins winning.no body fought.vancouver led the league in hits.but somehow the canucks who were scoring on 26% on powerplays were shut down.the olympic winning goalie choked and the more skilled sedins were punched in the mouth.literally.the american goalie thomas has his name etched on the conn smythe, stanley cup,and soon on the vezina.so harry please shut your pompous fuckin mouth.

harry i’m actually in my young twenties.you couldn’t win the debate so you resorted to name calling.i know fighting isn’t the only thing that makes you a tough guy.that’s why i pointed out vancouver led the league in hits.the bruins crashed the net,won faceoffs, and won the battles in the corners.the canucks were and are frontrunners.they’re only tough when they’re ahead or against weaker teams.
#22 by bababooey at June 22nd, 2011
harry first i’m a 50 year old then i’m a dumb kid.then you make fun of my pseudonym and then say i can’t make fun of your name because it’s also not your real name.don’t even try to write up a rebuttal.i state facts and stats and you call me a rapist.you can’t and won’t win a debate against me.don’t try to win a war of words.you’re not smart enough.
#23 by Sean at June 23rd, 2011

bababooey calm down and why are you commenting on this website if you’re in your early 20′s commenting is for kids man not for adults to make fun of kids comments because they think they know everything about hockey cause you dont i actually play hockey you probably dont
#26 by bababooey at June 26th, 2011
chris if commenting is childish then why the fuck did you reply.i actually did play hockey growing up.i was not talented enough to play in the nhl and i’m guessing neither were you.i was fortunate enough to see several cousins play in the pros and minors and have a true love of the game.i don’t know everything there is to know about hockey and apologize if i came off that way.

Screw anyone who says Americans have more heart than canadians. Only American with close to the same amount of heart is kesler. Oh yea 1 more thing I went #1 this year
#39 by R n-hop at June 29th, 2011
Oh and if you Americans have so much heart answer me this one. How come no American has hoisted lord stanley as a captain? Don’t seem like much heart to me…
#40 by Adam Lee at June 29th, 2011
Thank you for this list, this is much better than what I found on NHL.com. I have no idea who the Blackhawks will sign, if anyone, but at least I have a better idea of who is out there.
#41 by Calvin at June 29th, 2011
Since Canucks got rid of ehrhoff i can see them sign someone like ian white or get brent sopel back
#42 by B Seney at June 29th, 2011
I stand to be corrected by I believe Boston had something like 14 or was it 16 Canadian players on their team. Lets face it hockey players are one of our best exports. So there are so many Canadians in the NHL that they are bound to win the cup more often in the US than we are in Canada. Especially when there are more team with stupid money in the US. That is how I see it anyway. And I did not have to swear or say rude things to make my point. Seems like that is all I hear form Bruins fans.
#43 by Super T at June 30th, 2011
kevyboy you obviously don’t even know the make up of your own team, Canadians are “pussies” well i shall remind you of something:
Milan Lucic – Canadian
Patrice Bergeron – Canadian
Brad Marchand – Canadian
Cam Neely – Canadian
Bobby Orr – Canadian
Phil Esposito – Canadian
If you don’t say anything stupid then may be someone may not rebut back, you big goof!

Everyone stop fighting on a forum sheeesh. I live in BC, I am a Canucks fan, and I am canadian. The canucks lost because they played with no heart, were banged up and their goalie was very inconsistant to put it nicely. The Bruins were just harder working and wanted to win, it’s that simple. Obviously Canada is better at hockey but the Americans are making a strong case that they are the new number 2 in the world. They have more people to draw from, and the more popular the game becomes that scarier team USA becomes. Most teams have more canadians and the ones that win cups have the most, the toughest, and generally the best pure all around hockey stars. Granted the US goalies right now are amazing. Thomas is a freak and Miller puts his whole team on his back to make the playoffs. But no american goalie will ever break brodeur’s or roy’s records, and name the US’s best player, he’s no Crosby P. Bergeron or Thornton, he’s not a Rick Nash, a Toews or a Stamkos. The list goes on. With all that said, please stop fighting like idiots. You sound ridiculous and not at all like real fans of the game.

Leafs will impress this year – hear me out before you start blasting away on your keyboards… I’ve heard the TV personalities on TSN and even ESPN ripping on the Liles move and comparing him and his contract to that of Kaberle’s. This guy is a solid puck moving defenseman and will add some much needed help on an abysmal powerplay. Colorado is a mess – not even Crosby would have performed well there last year. Give me a solid blue line and a good goalie and there’s your base. With The Reiminister in net and Grabo and Kulemin continuing their ways, the playoffs are a LOCK. They even would have made it to the Eastern Conference finals this year and lost to Boston, check it:
Leafs over Caps in 6 (played well in Wash this past season-most overrated team in the NHL)
Leafs over Flyers in 7 (Bozak and Komisarek could even beat those bums in net)
Bruins over Leafs in 4 (Leafs may have scored 2 goals the whole series)
Ok, blast away!!!

@r n hop – darian hatcher hoisted Stanley as the captain of Dallas. Lidstrom for Detroit and chara for Boston every other captain in the history of the cups existence was Canadian even before the NHL. And this forum is childish. Canucks are a good team. Boston was better and I’m from Vancouver. Y’all need to do your research before you start acting like hockey guru’s!
#50 by Buzzwon at July 4th, 2011
Boston won’t repeat! All this Canada America beef is straight up gay! My favorite Canuck is American and my favorite bruins are Canadians. As for the rioters, those fags don’t even live in Vancouver they live in surrounding towns and clearly are bigger fans of property crime than hockey. Also! All this talk about the Olympics is pointless cause the Olympics are gay! It’s about 16 wins in spring. Anything else is just not worthy of debate. grow up ya fucking yahoo’s
