Wow, what an insightful comment Erik.

“Yzerman is still looking for a Dman, and has interest in forwards, only at the right price.”

    Keep up the good work!

I love Willie Mitchell — if he is healthy.

10 teams have called about Vancouver’s Kevin Bieksa? Really? He’s too injury prone, having only played in 55 games last year. He’s never played an entire season (he did come close in 2006-07 playing 81 games).

At a $3.75 Mil cap hit and in the final year of his contract, interested teams could potentially lose assets in a trade to acquire Bieksa, have him play half a season, and watch him walk away as an UFA next summer. Sounds like a suckers bet to me…

He’s a solid player when healthy, but risky for the team acquiring him.
