- Pierre LeBrun via Twitter: A source tells ESPN that the Kings are not considering Simon Gagne.
- Larry Brooks via Twitter: Patrick Elias has a no-trade clause. Bryce Salvador could be waived. Dainius Zubrus and/or Jamie Langenbrunner could be dealt. (I’m guessing this was in response to the reports that Ilya Kovalchuk could be signing with the Devils today)
