Pierre LeBrun via twitter: Several GMs have said they like the hybrid icing rule, probably the only one that will one day be implemented.
Dan Rosen of NHL.com: Brian Burke may not be a fan of many of the proposed changes, but … “To me this is very innovative and creative on the part of the NHL,” Burke said. “I think we should always be looking at how we play the game and how we can make it better. I think too many rule changes confuse fans, but in general we should be looking at how we play the game to see if there is a way we can make it better for the fans.”
