White to San Jose, Joslin to Carolina in separate deals


The San Jose Sharks sent defenseman Derek Joslin to the Carolina Hurricanes for Future considerations.

A short time later the 2 teams were back at it with the Hurricanes sending Ian White to the Sharks for a draft pick.

Updated: Chip Alexander via twitter: The Hurricanes will be getting a 2nd round pick for White.

It’s a 2012 2nd round pick.

    This is a typical Doug Wilson deal. Trade away draft picks for overpaid garbage rental players who will make no difference come playoff time. What is the point of this deal? White does not answer what the Sharks need, is vastly overpaid and will be gone at the end of the season. And now SJ has lost yet another draft pick (Prospect).
