Surprising how much value Tambellini was able to get for Penner.

Value???? A suspect prospect a low first round pick in a weak draft and an additional pick for one of the top power forwards in the game?
#5 by gp at February 28th, 2011
The losers today are the San Jose Sharks, while the Kings, Coyotes and Ducks improved the Sharks remained the same.

I have to disagree that he is one of the leagues top power forward.
I would agree, that he has the skill to be a top power forward.
But just because he is big, doesnt mean he is among the best.

A 1st, a 2nd and 20 year old defencemen who was captain for the Team Canada JR team?
Yeah, i would call that EXCELLENT value.
Tambellini is a jerk, but good value on this trade.

BTW — Eberle and Colten are from the same home town…

Was a bit surprised that both the Sharks and Canadiens did nothing.
With only really 5 ‘sellers’, not a lot of options though
