The Toronto Maple Leafs have traded a 2012 4th round pick to the New Jersey Devils for David Steckel.
Steckel is famous for the hit he put on Sidney Crosby that gave him his first concussion.
I would think that the Maple Leafs have something else they are working on.

It certainly does. But is it a improvement, only time will tell. I think not. Maybe a short time job for Steckel and Burke has already another AHLer in mind.
Hey, maybe Bozy has better trade value than everybody thinks and Burke is just trying to maximize the return by trading now.
