Our 2nd installment in tracking NHL attendance for the 2011-12 season.
The Flyers get a big boost in their attendance from the Winter Classic. If you don’t take into account the WC, the Flyers have an average home attendance of 19,734 through 19 games. 12 teams are at or over 100% capacity, down one from attendance after 10 games. Dallas has seen a nice improvement over the last 10 games.

Nice to see Tampa way up there.
Almost 2 thirds of league are near sell out every game. PRetty solid
#2 by Stephan at February 5th, 2012
Montreal at 20,209 !!! It’s an error because Montreal is always full attendance at 21 273 for many years.
#3 by George at February 14th, 2012
U need to look again cause it as capacity 21 273. The NHL should look at these numbers and get the head out of there ass and give Canada another team. 9 American teams are under 90%, move Phoenix to Quebec doesn’t matter who buys them they can’t seem to get the fans
#4 by Mark Easson at February 14th, 2012
@George I corrected the error after Stephan made his comment.
#5 by Eddie at February 26th, 2012
We need to see how many free tickets were distributed on average. In Tampa it is thousands per game. Nyi too.
