@hotwings I understand where you're coming from. Leafs have a chance at playoffs. Even so, Pittsburgh could still offer up Boychuk, Jeffrey, or Kennedy. All are roster players.

ya but you cant do pitts any favours since they may meet the leafs in the first round... prospects can be had anywhere... plus, nonis mentioned that he wants to see his youth develop in TO, ie: avoid watching steen, rask develop into stars elsewhere... u can put kulemin in that category... he is still young, lots of potential.. i dont think he needs a change of scenary... he is effective in others ways... this season is different for the leafs.. they arent sellers...

@Harry you obviously have no clue what you're talking about.

@hotwings Penguins have multiple young assets they could give up for Kulemin. Kulemin hasn't produced to his potential the past 2 years, a change in scenery could be perfect for him, plus he played well with Malkin.

i cant see the leafs dealing w/ pitts... i think any deal involving kulie would have to involve someone like ryan o'reilly coming back... pitts doesnt really have anyone attractive to the leafs atm... and a prospect + late pick... anyone can provide that... and why do it with someone in your conf who you might have to meet if u make the playoffs?

i wonder if the leafs might be trade partners w/ the sharks... the sharks D are older than dirt... maybe in the offseason more likely?

Pittsburgh - Nikolai Kulemin

Toronto - Prospect and mid-late draft pick

Kulemin clicked with Malkin during lockout.
