- Dan O’Neill via twitter: Blues Vladimir Tarasenko was taken to a local hospital after getting hit. Kelly Chase via twitter: Tarasenko is heading home on the plane with teammates.
What do you think of the hit? Was Tarasenko in a vulnerable position and the hit is worthy of a suspension or fine? Was the hit clean and he shouldn’t be suspended/fined?

Yup, obvious blind side. Black and white.

Should he get suspended? No, you gotta keep your head up.
Will he get suspended? Yeah, probably a game.

It wasn’t a hit to the head. It should have been a 2 minute charging penalty, and if there was an injury involved, it would be 5 and a game.

It was clean. He kept his elbows down, he didn’t charge (he glided into him), he didn’t leave his feet, and Tarasenko had just barely gotten rid of the puck. The only reason he contacted his head at all was because he spun around into Olver. It was north-south, and he didn’t target the head recklessly or intentionally.
If the hit on Landy was clean, this one was squeaky clean.

Shanahan won’t discipline anyone who injures Blues players. He still hates the Blues. But anytime there is a questionable hit done by a Blues player, the Blues player will get a longer suspension than any other player in the league!!!!!!!!!!
