The Los Angeles Kings have traded winger Simon Gagne to the Philadelphia Flyers for a conditional 2013 4th round pick. The draft pick was previously been acquired from the Coyotes.
The 32-year old Gagne was a 1st round pick, 22nd overall in 1998 by the Flyers. He carries a $3.5 million salary cap hit, and $2.5 million salary. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent after the season.

I feel this is a nice pick up for Philly. Hopefully he can stay healthy for them.

Key for Gagne is his health. He’s put up some decent numbers when healthy.
Little risk for the Flyers.
