If you think Calgary won this trade by getting David Jones you are completely wrong! Enjoy his 4 mil cap hit Calgary and get ready for sub par performances out of Jones. He shouldn’t even be on the 4th line on most NHL teams. I’m also happy the Avs got rid of O’Brien who falls down in front of his own net and swings his stick around like he’s chopping wood. I believe the Avs definitely won this trade.

Avs got the better end of this deal for sure. Tanguay is a good fit for them right now with all the young players. Jones is going no where fast I do think he has tallent but needs to change his style and do some banging and get dirty. He sits back waiting too much.
