  • Adrian Dater: Avs Ryan Wilson will be out two weeks with a knee injury.
  • Ansar Khan: Red Wings Johan Franzen didn’t skate yesterday due to a hip flexor. They are waiting to see if it will be a day-to-day injury.
  • Lisa Dillman: Kings GM Dean Lombardi said they are still being cautious with Dustin Brown’s hamstring injury. If it were the playoffs, he’d be playing.
  • Ansar Khan: Red Wings Brendan Smith has a sore groin but is expected back on the ice in a couple days.
  • Scott Powers of ESPN Chicago: Blackhawks Mike Kostka left last nights game with an upper-body injury after being hit into the boards by Red Wings Teemu Pulkkinen.
