Injury Notes: Hall, Gagner, Cammalleri, Penner, Briere, Neal, Lacavalier and Hartnell
  • Joanne Ireland: Oilers Taylor Hall has flown back to Edmonton for further evaluation on his knee injury. Jonathan Willis: The Oilers haven’t called anyone up yet as they are waiting to get a better handle on the timeline for the injury.
  • Joanne Ireland: Oilers Sam Gagner has been cleared for light contact.
  • Pat Steinberg: Flames Mike Cammalleri skated yesterday and will be a game-time decision.
  • Bill Meltzer: Ducks Dustin Penner pretty much out on his feet as he’s helped off the ice after taking a hit from Garbutt.
  • TSN: Canadiens Daniel Briere is out with a concussion.
  • Sam Carchidi: Flyers Vinny Lecavalier and Scott Hartnell both skated yesterday and were shooting pucks. Tim Panaccio of CSN Philly: Lecavalier (lower body/likely groin or abdominal pull)  is “hopeful” to play on Thursday against the Rangers. Hartnell isn’t ready yet.

    “Not bad. I have to be a little careful what I can do out there. It’s amazing how fast you can get out of shape. It’s been just over a week for me and I was really sucking wind out there.”
