Injury Notes: Rinne, Johnson, Jackman, Morrow, Lupul, McLaren, Helm, Lecavalier and Hartnell
  • Josh Cooper of the Tennessean: Predators goalie Pekka Rinne will be out at least four weeks after a “hip scope.” Magnus Hellberg has been recalled. Josh Cooper via twitter: Predators GM Poile said that Rinne has a spontaneous bacterial infection in the hip he had surgically repaired.
  • Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Blues Barret Jackman and Brenden Morrow are expected to return to the lineup tomorrow night against the Canucks. Morrow should be lined up with Vladimir Sobotka and Ryan Reaves on the fourth line.
  • David Alter: Maple Leafs Joffrey Lupul left practice for x-rays after taking a puck off the foot. James Mirtle: The Maple Leafs have recalled Josh Leivo for their trip in case Lupul’s injury is serious.
  • Mark Masters: Randy Carlyle said that Frazer McLaren has been cleared to play.
  • Ansar Khan of MLive: Red Wings Darren Helm won’t play this weekend, but is expected to get back in the lineup sometime during their four-game Western Canada trip that starts on Oct. 30th in Vancouver.
  • Sam Carchidi: Flyers Vincent Lecavalier is in, Scott Hartnell is out.
