Injury Notes: Penguins, Clowe, Neuvirth, Ducks, Lightning, Daley, Bozak and Bickell
  • Shelly Anderson: Penguins Evgeni Malkin is day-to-day and not traveling with the team to Boston. Pascal Dupuis is day-to-day and traveling with the team to Boston. Andrew Ebbett has a broken ankle.
  • Rich Chere: Devils Ryane Clowe took part in their morning skate. Tom Gulitti: Clowe said that he considers both of his concussions with the Rangers as “one big” one as he came back too quick from the first one.
  • Chuck Gormley: Capitals Michal Neuvirth (lower-body) skated yesterday and could come off the IR today. Adam Vingan: Doesn’t sound like Neuvirth is ready to go this weekend.
  • Dan Wood: Ducks Francois Beauchemin and Jakob Silfverberg won’t play this weekend, but both are with the team to “get in shape” according to coach Bruce Boudreau.
  • Damian Cristodero: Lightning’s Victor Hedman is out at least a week and will be day-to-day after that. Eric Brewer and Radko Gudas are expected to play tonight.
  • Mark Stepneski: Stars Trevor Daley is expected to be out “weeks.”
  • TSN: The Maple Leafs put Tyler Bozak on the LTIR.
  • Tracey Myers: Blackhawks Bryan Bickell is making progress and could start skating next week.
