VIDEOS: Clarkson Suspended Two Games …. Thornton Suspended 15 Games

The NHL has suspended Maple Leafs winger David Clarkson for two games for an illegal check to the head of Blues Vladimir Sobotka.

The NHL has suspended Bruins forward Shawn Thornton for 15 games for a match penalty for fighting Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik.

    Good. I’m glad the buffoon Thorton got what he deserved. 15 games minimum is fine, though should have been 20. And for those saying that neal’s knee to the head was worse then this, obviously don’t know the difference between a player getting hit and still being concious, and another getting assaulted and knocked unconcious. People are idiots. Neal deserved a suspension and 5 is enough, but clearly to anyone with half a brain, thorton’s was ten times worse.

    The Neal hit was just as bad, only the result was different (mostly because Orpik is fragile… that was the weakest slew-foot ever and the 2 punches were to the visor with gloves on!!!)
