Derek MacKenzie Suspended For Three Games For Boardin Oliver Ekman-Larsson

Blue Jackets Derek MacKenzie has been suspended by the NHL for three games for boarding Coyotes Oliver Ekman-Larsson.

OEL was injured on the play and MacKenzie has not been suspended or fined in the past.

Was this suspension TOO MUCH, NOT ENOUGH, or JUST RIGHT?

3 games is okay in my opinion. But I think it’s very random and inconsistent what the separate diciplinary actions are when Lupul only gets fined $10,000 for his cross check, considering he’s been suspended before.
