What do you think the Leafs lineup will look like once Bolland, Clarkson, and Smith return? I think it would be best if they move Kadri to the wing and have either Holland or Bolland center the 2nd line. They need to do something to shake up that line cause it’s just not playing up to expectations. I’m guessing Raymond gets moved b/c we’ll have too much depth in the bottom 6. Not sure what they’ll do but here’s my guess…..

    JVR-Bozak-Kessel
    Lupul-Holland-Kadri
    Kuli-Bolland-Clarkson
    McClement-T.Smith-Bodie

Prob be best to trade Raymond and put Kuli on the 3rd line. T.Smith could center the 4th line and have McClement on the wing. I think it’s time to stop playing goons on the 4th and play hustle guys like Smith and Bodie. Typical Leaf optimism but that’s a pretty solid lineup. The DEF is where we need another solid stay at home D. Gleason was a great add but we need one more and have to move Franson. He’s just horrible.

    Gunner-Phaneuf
    Gleason-Gardiner
    ??? – Reilly

Package Raymond and Franson (both UFA’s) for someone like Kulikov or Girardi. Goaltending isn’t going to change this year and it shouldn’t! What do u think?

I’d rather see the leafs re-sign Raymond instead of packaging him up, he was a mega steal at 1mill. Granted he’ll fetch 3+ on a re-sign, but I think he’s worth it and he’s only 28 so he can still have a number of good years ahead.

@Josh: Kadri struggled at wing when Wilson tried it. It might be better to swap Holland to the wing instead. Also Franson is an RFA (1 year left) but will be looking for a fairly significant raise given his point totals.
I’m fine with shipping out Raymond or keeping him, he’s good on the 3rd line and has fantastic speed, but he skates faster than he thinks, so definitely not a top 6 guy.
Franson is fine as a 3rd pairing guy with PP time, he isn’t a top 4. That is the main problem, he needs to move down the depth chart.
Maybe drop Bodie for Ashton on the 4th? I like Ashton’s hustle and size.
Agreed that they don’t need a face puncher unless the other side has one.
