NHL Trade: Islanders Trade Bouchard and Regin to Blackhawks for Pick

The Chicago Blackhawks have traded for center/winger Pierre-Marc Bouchard and center Peter Regin from the New York Islanders for a 2014 4th round draft pick. The Islanders retain half of their cap hits and salaries.

The 29-year old Bouchard was drafted 8th overall in 2002 by the Wild.

The 27-year old Regin was draft 87th overall in the 3rd round of the 2004 draft by the Senators.

    Regin has been awful for the isles and PMB just never really got going, he was supposed to play with JT but he just looked lost put their all season.
