Friendly heads up that Scottie “Upshaw” is actually “Upshall”

Why would the Stars give up cap space and pick(s) for Vinny?

no way should the Jets want Reimer unless its straight up for Pavlec!! Hutchinson is ready this year and Hellybuck and Comrie will be ready in 2-3 years. Reimer will probably go for a 5-6th round pick

I agree that Reimer’s value is low — because he is a goalie, and there are so many available and so few spots for them. But i think he would be a significant upgrade for Winnipeg right now. Jets should trade for him (giving up little) and buy out Pavlec right now.

I think it is a toss up between Reimer and Pav, Pav has potential to be a lot better than Reimer but is way more inconsistent. The Jets have said time and time again they will not use a buy out, so no way that happens, if they did I would still prefer Montoya be brought back over Reimer, either way I still hope Hutchinson is given the opportunity to be our number one as I see him being better than Reimer, Pav and Montoya.

Ehrhoff is a #1 on a lot of teams. The Sabre fans are up in arms, check out “diebytheblade.com” and turning on Tim Murray. There are AHL teams better than the Sabre’s…literally.

First question about Ehrhoff. Why would Buffalo not trade him for something? Anything? Cant tell me teams wouldn’t be lined up. Even a 2nd round pick next year.
2nd question. Isnt there a cap floor teams have to be at. I realize some of Ehrhoff’s contract are on the books but Buffalo is no where near.
    Maybe big signings coming lol

Reimer, a 26 year old millionaire, looking for a fresh start — hilarious.

Because if Ehrhoff retires with 1 year left on his contract, Buffalo would be given a $10m cap hit that season as a penalty for the contract they gave him.
The acquiring team would face no penalty, only Buffalo.

That is the only reason he was not traded.

I like how the flyers bury Lecavalier on the fourth line for most of the season and play him out of position for the the rest of the time and HE’S suddenly a bad player. He goes ANYWHERE else and gets 70 points next year.

Slow n a bad signing. 70 pts on a hipeless team if lucky otherwise washed up n should retire
