  • Dave Isaac of the Courier Post: The Flyers have re-signed Zac Rinaldo to a two-year contract extension with a cap hit of $850,000 per season. Rinaldo would have been a RFA at the end of this season.

“I’m surprised that we’d even started to talk about it so early, but I am thrilled,” Rinaldo said in a statement. “Philadelphia is where I started my NHL career, and this is where I want to be, so I am really happy. This definitely gives me a lot of confidence by the Flyers showing that they have confidence in me. I know they want to see me get better as a player, and this is the place to do it.”

  • Josh Rimer: Drayson Bowman has signed a PTO with the Canadiens.
  • Jeremy Rutherford: The Blues have signed 2014 1st round pick Robby Fabbri to an entry level deal.
  • Harvey Fialkov: The Panthers have invited defenseman Shane O’Brien to camp on a PTO.

I love watching Rinaldo play. No matter what team he is on I always will.
