Injuries: Lightning, Bruins, Stars, Jackets, Rangers, Wings plus more
  • Joe Smith: Lightning coach Jon Cooper said it would be miraculous if Alex Killorn or Ryan Callahan play tonight.
  • Joe Smith: Lightning’s Radko Gudas didn’t skate yesterday and likely won’t play tonight. He might be able to go on Friday.
  • Mark Stepneski: Stars Patrik Nemeth is out for the remainder of the season with an arm laceration. Coach Lindy Ruff said it’s possible that Nemeth could return to the playoffs.
  • Rob Mixer on BlueJackets.NHL: Blue Jackets defenseman Ryan Murray has been practicing with the team for the past two weeks. He didn’t travel with the team over the weekend, but flew to California yesterday to meet up with the them. Murray could return as early as Thursday.
  • Andrew Gross: Rangers Dan Girardi is questionable for tonight’s game against the Devils. He received stitches above his right skate after blocking a shot from Sharks Joe Pavelski.
  • Helene St. James: The Red Wings put Johan Franzen on the seven day IR, opening up a roster spot for Pavel Datsyuk, who could play tonight.
  • Rich Chere: Devils Martin Havlat had 55 stitches and had his upper lip reattached.
  • Chris Kuc: Blackhawks Kris Versteeg plans to be in the lineup tonight.
  • Anaheim Ducks: Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau said it’s “good to see” both Dany Heatley and Bryan Allen on the ice for practice yesterday. They are not ready to get back into the lineup yet.
