Rumors II: Flames, Panthers, Sens, Wild, Avs and Leafs
  • Luke Fox of Sportsnet: Flames GM Brad Treliving won’t move their young assets for a playoff run this season.

The Panthers could look to obtain someone to help them get into the playoffs.Senators GM Bryan Murray shooting down the Craig Anderson trade rumors.

“Why would I do that at this point? I mean, we don’t have a third goaltender. Robin is close to ready, but he’s got to play more games and I think with Craig being the credible guy that he is, I don’t know that I have to — if you don’t have goaltending in this league, you don’t have anything,” Murray said. “So it’s unlikely that Craig Anderson is going anywhere but the net in Ottawa.”

The Wild will keep three goaltenders for now as Darcy Kuemper was activated from the IR.

  • Wayne Scanlan: Senators GM Bryan Murray said that he’s not trading Craig Anderson. They’d like to trade Colin Greening, and are still looking to improve their team through a trade. Bruce Garrioch: Murray said that he’ll give Greening’s agent permission to talk with other teams. He may have to waive him are the all-star break.
