The Washington Capitals are the consensus favorites for week 11 in our NHL power rankings. All nine media outlets ranked the Capitals at number one. The Dallas Stars remain at No. two, with seven of nine ranking them second.

The Chicago Blackhawks, Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues moved into the top five.

The Blackhawks moved up three slots to third position. The Bruins and Blue were tied for fourth, with the Bruins moving up from eight, and the Blues jumping up from tenth.

In the Auston Matthews section of the consensus NHL power rankings, the Blue Jackets remain at No. 30 and Maple Leafs remain at No. 29.

The Anaheim Ducks struggles see them dropping three slots to No. 28. The Sabres move up a slot to 27, and the Canucks hold steady at No. 26.

Since we had 9 entries in this weeks NHL power rankings, we’ve dropped the highest and lowest totals for each team.

To get our consensus point total, we awarded the top team 30 points, the second team 29 points, third team 28 points, etc. Added each teams total points and divided by the number of outlets used.
