Injuries: Petry, Emelin, Perreault, Anderson, Phaneuf, Michalek and More
  • Mark Spector: Oilers Jeff Petry is out the rest of the game with a rib injury. Anton Lander also left with a shoulder injury.
  • Renaud Lavoie: Canadiens Alexei Emelin left last night’s game with an upper-body injury. Looked like his right shoulder.
  • Patrick Williams: Jets coach Paul Maurice said that Mathieu Perreault has a “significant” lower-body injury and is not likely to return before the end of the regular season.
  • Bruce Garrioch: Senators Craig Anderson was on the ice yesterday. No updates or timetables for Robin Lehner or Clarke MacArthur.
  • Jonas Siegel:  Further tests on Dion Phaneuf earlier this month showed other issues in his injured right hand, pushing back his timeline.
  • Rob Longley: Phaneuf and Trevor Smith won’t play this weekend. It’s possible that Joffrey Lupul returns.
  • Jason Mackey: Penguins Kris Letang and Christian Ehrhoff practiced yesterday.
  • Jason Botchford: Canucks Nick Bonino is in New York, but is in a walking boot and not skating. Alex Edler and Chris Tanev didn’t travel with the team.
  • Craig Morgan: Coyotes Zbynek Michalek is still day-to-day. Alec Bolduc skated yesterday before practice and is hoping to practice on Friday.
  • Craig Morgan: Coyotes Martin Hanzal had back surgery on Tuesday. Went well according coach Dave Tippett.
  • Sam Carchidi: Flyers goalie Steve Mason skated yesterday which is a good sign.
  • Mike Heika: The Stars put Travis Moen on the IR.
  • Ken Wiebe: Jets coach Paul Maurice said that he expects Matt Halischuk to return from his lower-body injury in early March.
  • Joe Smith: Lightning’s Radko Gudas is off his crutches and feeling better. No timetable, but hopes to be back for the playoffs.
  • Brian Compton: Islanders Casey Cizikas was put on the IR retroactive to Feb. 16th.
