Injury Notes: Canucks, Hawks, Sens, Devils, Ducks, Bruins, Oilers, Leafs, Pens and Blues
  • Dan Murphy: Canucks injuries: Jordan Schroeder (ankle) out two months, Jannik Hansen (upper-body) out for three-four weeks, Dale Weise (lower-body) out three-four weeks and David Booth (lower-body) out one-two weeks.
  • Chris Kuc: Blackhawks Michal Handzus (upper-body) is not skating and won’t play tonight.
  • Bruce Garrioch: Senators Clarke MacArthur is expected to play tonight.
  • Tom Gulitti: Devils defenseman Bryce Salvador thinks he’ll return “relatively quickly” and goalie Cory Schneider is expected back by the weekend.
  • Eric Stephens: Ducks Saku Koivu could return to their road trip if he’s cleared by doctors that he has no concussion symptoms.
  • Fluto Shinzawa: The Bruins don’t expect Loui Eriksson to skate this week.
  • Bob McKenzie: Oilers Sam Gagner (broken jaw) is getting closer to returning to the lineup.
  • Joey Vendetta: Leafs Joffrey Lupul wants to play but will be a game-time decision.
  • John Shannon: Leafs Tyler Bozak out seven to 10 days and has been put on the IR retroactive to last Friday.
  • Pittsburgh Penguins: Penguins Rob Scuderi has a broken ankle and will have surgery later this week. No timetable has been set.
  • Josh Yohe: Penguins Chuck Kobasew has a lower-body injury and will be evaluated today in Pittsburgh.
  • Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Blues Magnus Paajarviis expected to miss some time with an upper-body injury.

    “(Paajarvi) got whacked into the boards there,” Blues coach Ken Hitchcock said. “He’s got a pretty good upper-body injury right now.”

    Chris Stewart is questionable for tonight with an upper-body injury.
