- TFP staff – The Fourth Period: A contract extension for Andrei Markov was apparently close from one report, but that may not be the case. They say ‘Show yourself in practices.’ And we don’t practically have any – only games. Not a lot depends on me. And the head coach doesn’t approach me, doesn’t explain anything to me. There is a feeling he’s on his own wave. Nevertheless, I keep waiting for my chance… If only I was explained the reason of this limited trust. But no one says anything and knows nothing. I prefer to wait for my chance quietly. I haven’t spoken with anyone from Dinamo Minsk yet on the topic of a transfer. I only spoke with my agent. I don’t know how it will turn out. At least I am not against such a development. I would like to prove that I am capable of playing in the KHL.”

The Predators have asked for a high-end prospect and a #1 pick for Dan Hamhuis, though they might keep him and hope to make a deep run in the playoffs.
