NHL, NHLPA meeting scheduled for tomorrow … 6 owners to attended … Ryan, Toews and maybe Crosby to attend

TSN: The NHL and NHLPA will meet tomorrow afternoon in New York. Six owners and small group of players will attend. Owners who will be there include: Jeremy Jacobs (Bos), Ronald Burkle (Pit), Mark Chipman (Win), Jeffery Vinik (TB), Murray Edwards (Cal) and Larry Tanenbaum (Tor). The NHLPA requested that one staff member be present. Bill Daly will be there for the NHL, the NHLPA representative is not known at this point.

“There will be owners attending this meeting who have not previously done so, which is encouraging and which we welcome,” Fehr said in a statement. “We hope that this meeting will be constructive and lead to a dialogue that will help us find a way to reach an agreement.”
