NHL, NHLPA meeting scheduled for tomorrow … 6 owners to attended … Ryan, Toews and maybe Crosby to attend

- TSN: The NHL and NHLPA will meet tomorrow afternoon in New York. Six owners and small group of players will attend. Owners who will be there include: Jeremy Jacobs (Bos), Ronald Burkle (Pit), Mark Chipman (Win), Jeffery Vinik (TB), Murray Edwards (Cal) and Larry Tanenbaum (Tor). The NHLPA requested that one staff member be present. Bill Daly will be there for the NHL, the NHLPA representative is not known at this point.
“There will be owners attending this meeting who have not previously done so, which is encouraging and which we welcome,” Fehr said in a statement. “We hope that this meeting will be constructive and lead to a dialogue that will help us find a way to reach an agreement.”
- Andy Strickland via twitter: Strickland is hearing only 6 players will be allowed to attend the meeting.
- Dave Molinari vai twitter: Look for Sidney Crosby to be at the meeting tomorrow.
- Joey Vendetta via twitter: Jonathan Toews and Ryan Miller will attend, Crosby should be there too.
- Tim Panaccio via twitter: A source said the Flyers players would have liked Ed Snider to be going to the meeting.
