- Dmitry Chesnokov via twitter: Alexander Radulov’s Russian agent said there is no meeting with the KHL today. A decision is expected tomorrow.
- Adrian Dater of the Denver Post: Avalanche forward Matt Duchene will return to the lineup on Thursday. He will miss only 9 days instead of the expected 3 to 4 weeks for the ankle injury.
- Eric Stephens of the OC Register: Both Corey Perry and Luca Sbisa are questionable for tonight. Perry injured his shoulder on Saturday and Sbisa developed back spasms on Monday.
- Helene St. James via twitter: Pavel Datsyuk skated again today and hopes to be back on Saturday.
- Josh Yohe via twitter: Penguins defenseman Kris Letang could return tomorrow.
- Dave Lozo via twitter: Capitals Nicklas Backstrom has skated 2 days in a row and said there’s “no problems at all.”
- Jason Gregor via twitter: Oilers Ben Eager is out with back spasms, Teemu Hartikainen has been recalled.
- Helene St. James via twitter: Joey MacDonald will start for the Red Wings tonight. Jimmy Howard will start on Saturday.
